After Microsoft acquired Activision-Blizzard for $69 billion, the first question that came to Xbox Game Pass subscribers’ minds was whether CoD games would come to the platform. Of course, while there have been numerous developments in this process, the latest news from Microsoft is not very encouraging. A similar situation also applies to Call of Duty and Game Pass.
Will Call of Duty games come to Xbox Game Pass?
In the last few days, disturbing claims have been made about Microsoft. While the rumors started that Xbox would minimize or stop console production, they continued with Xbox-exclusive games coming to all platforms, including PlayStation.
Of course, such crucial rumors also touched upon the Game Pass and Call of Duty duo at one point. According to Timdog, known for its leaks in the industry, Microsoft will not bring Call of Duty games to the Game Pass service, which it thinks is currently unsustainable and constantly making losses.
It is worth noting that all these details are claims, and there is no official statement from Microsoft yet. However, Microsoft Gaming CEO and Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, recently announced an event that will take place next week, starting with the words “Our vision for the future of Xbox.” We will probably learn clearly at this event whether the claims in question are true or not.
